ILADS Mission Statement

ILADS is a nonprofit, international, multidisciplinary medical society dedicated to the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of Lyme and associated diseases. ILADS promotes understanding of Lyme and associated diseases through research, education and policy. We strongly support physicians, scientists, researchers and other healthcare professionals dedicated to advancing the standard of care for Lyme and associated diseases.

Tick Center Services in Woodruff, WI

The Aspirus Tick-Borne Illness Center offers patients different clinical tracks depending on their needs.

Where people who believe they may have a tick-borne illness can be effectively diagnosed and treated through the Center’s specialized, state-of-the-art testing and distinguished doctors.

Where patients who have been suffering for some time from an undiagnosed illness can receive a clear plan for treatment and follow-up care.

Where clinicians and researchers connect with each other to share information and findings. A place where collaboration is the normal.

Tick Urgent Care

Got a tick? Just been bitten? Our Tick Urgent Care team can remove your tick, test your tick, and help to guide you through prevention methods and early treatment of acute tick-borne illness. Patients can schedule an initial appointment with a provider or nurse by emailing or calling us.

Tick Clinic

If you have longer term issues or an undiagnosed illness, the Tick Center is the leading center where you can get the latest in diagnostics and treatment and receive the best care for tick-borne illnesses. Patient’s have a “quarterback” provider who remains with the patient until the patient is well, regardless of the type of treatment required.

Referrals

The Tick Center does not require a referral. We are happy to work with other providers and researchers to find answers for you. We operate on a fee for service platform. Qualified visits may be covered by our Patients in Need Fund or Research Fund.
